Scott Huffman first decided to enter politics when he saw his 10-year-old daughter become worried about her friends after the 2016 elections. He became a community leader, serving on the Mecklenburg County Democratic Board of Directors and rallied his community to participate and speak out about the policies and direction of our nation. An original founder and leader of Indivisible Charlotte, Scott held town halls, raised billboards, and held his Republican Members of Congress accountable for refusing to meet with constituents. Now he is ready to go to Congress himself so that he can advocate for the people he knows and loves.
Scott is a working class Navy veteran running to fight for our democracy and for our rights. Scott knows government can be fair and good to all people, it just needs the right leaders with the right priorities. We know Scott will go to Congress to fight for the people and that is why we are proud to endorse him in this race.
